The Climat
La vallée de l'avant-Dheune vient couper la Côte de Beaune sur l'aire d'appellation de Pommard. Le Climat "Les Petits Noizons" se situe sur la section nord de la Côte, à l'entrée de la vallée. Ce positionnement lui confère une orientation sud, surplomblant le village de Pommard, avec au loin les villages de Volnay et Meursault. Le climat remonte très haut sur le côteau, culminant à plus de 300 mètres d'altitude. Les sols argilo-calcaires sont également très caillouteux.

The vintage
The Avant-Dheune Valley slices through the Côte de Beaune within the Pommard appellation. The "Les Petits Noizons" Climat is situated on the northern part of the hillside, at the mouth of the valley. This location provides a south-facing orientation, overlooking the villages of Volnay and Meursault. The Climat extends high up the slope, culminating at an altitude of 300 meters. The clay and limestone soils are also rich in stone.
Tasting note
The bouquet opens on aromas of fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant), dried flowers and violet, followed by cocoa and truffle. The attack is lively and its freshness balances its richness and strength. The tannins are present yet silky and give way to a sapid finish with aromas of licorice and truffle. A wine with true aging potential, able to deliver immediate pleasure or spend a few years in the cellar!
